What You Need Before Filling the CITG Studentship Registration Form
Applying to become a student of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG) requires a few important documents and details. Gather the items below before you start filling out the registration form to ensure a smooth and timely submission.
Personal Identification
Prepare accurate personal details and official ID information as they appear on your documents.
- Surname and other names (in block letters)
- Postal address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Date of birth and proof of age (e.g., birth certificate or passport)
- Ghana Card number
- A passport-sized photograph (red background)
Academic and Professional Background
Evidence of your academic and professional qualifications is required for registration and verification.
- Photocopies of academic and professional certificates
- Original certificates for verification (these will be returned under registered cover)
- Details of qualifications: subjects passed and grades
Employment or Training Information
Provide a clear employment history or details of any full-time course you are following.
- Employment history: employer names and addresses, positions held, nature of work, and dates (from–to)
- If self-employed: description of the nature of your business with dates
- If a full-time student: name and address of the educational institution, and course details
References
You must provide two referees. One referee must be your employer, head of your educational institution, or a member of CITG.

Applicant’s Undertaking
Be ready to sign a declaration confirming that you will abide by the rules and regulations of the Institute.

Registration Fee
- Registration Fee: Ghc300.00
- Annual Student Subscription fee: Ghc300.00
