CITG Examination Schedule and Centres

Biannual Examination Sessions

The Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG) conducts its professional examinations twice each year. Sessions are held in February and August, providing candidates with two opportunities annually to progress through their levels of study. Each session typically spans six days, beginning on the first Monday of the examination month, with papers scheduled across the week.

Examination Centres

To make examinations more accessible to candidates across the country, the Institute currently operates three official centres:

  • Accra: Serving candidates within the Greater Accra Region and surrounding areas.
  • Kumasi: Serving candidates in the Ashanti Region and the middle belt of the country.
  • Ho: Serving candidates in the Volta Region and the eastern corridor.
  • Tamale: Serving candidates in the Northern and Upper regions of Ghana.
  • Takoradi: Serving candidates in the Central and Western regions of Ghana.

These centres provide convenient access for students from different parts of Ghana, and the Institute may expand to additional centres in the future as the student population grows.
